Day 1
Enjoy a morning game drive in either Lake Manyara or Tarangire National
Park depending upon your customized safari itinerary. After an early
picnic lunch, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport. The
Kilimanjaro Airport is located about 2.5-hours from both the Lake
Manyara and Tarangire park gates. Depart at 1.45pm from Kilimanjaro
arriving at 2.35pm at Nairobi Wilson on Air Kenya. Depart Nairobi
Wilson at 3.00pm arriving in the Masai Mara at 3.45pm on Air Kenya.
You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to you choice of
accommodations with game driving in route.
Dinner and overnight at Kichwa Tembo, Olonana, IL Moran or Bateleur
Camp.
Day 2 - 3
Enjoy two full days in the Masai Mara with game drives in open sided
4x4 safari vehicles on a shared basis. The Masai Mara is home to
significant portions of the migratory wildebeest and zebra herds
between August and October. Besides the migration, resident
animals include lion, black rhino, cheetah, giraffe, elephant, red-tailed
monkeys and several species of antelope. The Maasai Mara served
as the location for some famous scenes in the classic movie “Out
of Africa”, and more recently has also been the hot shot location
for the famous BBC series “Big Cat Diary.”
Twice-daily (morning and afternoon) interpretive game drives led
by experienced rangers are included in this extension. Game
drives are conducted in open sided vehicles which will add a new
dynamic to your safari experience. Please note that game drives
are on a mixed group (non-private) basis as opposed to your entire
Tanzania safari, which is strictly private.

Day 4
Enjoy breakfast before you finally say goodbye to the Maasai Mara
National Reserve. After breakfast you will be transferred to
the Airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Wilson Airport in
Nairobi departing at 11.00am and arriving Nairobi Wilson at 12.15pm.
Upon arrival to Nairobi, you will be transferred to the Palacina
Hotel for a day room to relax, organize your luggage, and have a
delicious dinner at the Moonflower Restaurant before catching your
late night international flight. Finally, after dinner you will
be transferred to Nairobi International Airport for your late night
International flight departure to USA.
