This letter is long overdue. My family and I went on safari to Tanzania in May with the ADS team. The experience was truly wonderful and I sincerely appreciate the professionalism, care, and attention to detail displayed by the entire ADS team from the start of the inquiry process through the final farewells at Arusha airport. You have a first class organization and staff that any executive would be proud to call his own.
As this was our third safari to Africa, and our second to northern Tanzania, our expectations were remarkably high and yet ADS managed to meet or exceed all of them. The structure of your safari itineraries, specifically geared to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities, is what initially attracted me to ADS. I must say the safari did not disappoint.
The vast quantity of wildlife we encountered on this safari easily outnumbered the other two combined. From eating breakfast in the midst of the famous wildebeest migration to the 80+ lion we encountered on our trip, the safari was nonstop excitement. Yet as remarkable as all of those sightings were, I am not sure anything will ever top having a young cheetah jump on the hood of our safari vehicle. It was straight out of Big Cat Diaries, and as a lifelong cheetah lover, it was a truly magical experience.
No discussion of our safari would be complete without a special mention of two key ADS team members: Sharon Lyon and Gadiel Laizer. Sharon was our safari consultant and was an outstanding resource from the moment I first contacted ADS. She was extremely knowledgeable and worked with me to devise an itinerary that would not only meet my family’s individual needs, but also allow us to experience new places and activities we did not encounter on previous safaris. In the months leading up to the safari, Sharon promptly responded to all of my questions and spent a significant amount of time after the safari ended debriefing with me. I was very impressed with both her commitment and obvious enthusiasm towards her work.
Finally, we come to Gadi, who truly made our experience. It is no secret that a great guide is a key, if not the key to a great safari, and Gadi was a perfect fit for our family. Gadi was extremely diligent and alert during our game drives and always seemed to have us in the right place at the right time. He was extremely flexible and constantly tailored the days to ensure we had the best experience possible. Gadi has a wonderful sense of humor and we truly enjoyed having him as our guide. We sincerely miss him. He is yet another fine example of the ADS team.
Please accept my sincere thanks for all of your team’s efforts in planning and executing a remarkable experience that my family will never forget. I would be happy to serve as a reference for your future clients. I have enclosed a set of 75 photographs from our safari that I will hope will bring you some small measure of the immense joy the safari brought my family.
